Anchors Up!

Looks like the dreaded move is almost upon us. When Jennifer and I looked at the calendar today, we could hardly believe it.

Next week is our last meeting. Face to face that is. She’s moving away.

Uh-oh! Water on the cookbook. THE cookbook!

Not to worry! Beginning the following week, we will conduct all our meetings via Skype. We’re not sure how that will work out. Will we prop up our laptops in the kitchen while we cook together online? Will that result in an unfortunate laptop accident like it did for this cookbook? (We certainly hope not!)

I think I speak for both of us when I say that we will do whatever it takes to keep meeting every Wednesday, and more importantly to keep our friendship and camaraderie going. I am sure Jennifer will find a way to take just as many unflattering pictures of me as ever, and we will both continue to find ways to amuse ourselves all our loyal fans!

This week we went over two of Jennifer’s chapters detailing some touching experiences she had in Egypt, and one of mine detailing an interesting birthday surprise. And of course, we cooked, we laughed and we wore our silly hats.

Here’s the fun part:

I love those little sentences you put with the pictures…Who does those? Jenn or Michelle?

      • It depends on who wrote the post. This one was written by Michelle.
Michelle started it. She’s really witty and her photo captions are always funny. So I started doing it. But we each write a post a week. Look on there and see who’s post you’re reading. Then you’ll know. 🙂
And we do appreciate you reading them!!
